For an apparel store in Khan Market, the client wanted the space to reflect the ethos of the brand in its uniqueness and connection with tradition, while appealing to a wide consumer base. The brief also asked for improved utilization of awkward corners, while increasing shelving and display space.
Restructuring the floor layout to elongate the central aisle and tucking the sales counter under the staircase was one step towards this. Wooden panels were sourced from crafts-men to augment the design sensibility reflected in the garments. Lighting was also reconfigured to highlight the clothing display.
