PERFORMING ARTS UNIVERSITY IN LONDON

The project for Chroma tower was developed as an experiment with vertical urbanism, to determine and design an urban complex in Shoreditch, London. The design builds from the pre-war history of the site as a theatre, as is conceived as a social space driven, performance and fine-arts micro-university. The massing is a functional stacking of boxes based on contextual requirements, which were connected and deformed to add a series of social spaces, provide different panoramic views, and create outdoor spaces at multiple levels.
