Our brief was to create a place of respite and solitude for the family when they visited their hometown. The site, set away from the busy city center, deserved to be celebrated for the opportunity it provided. Multiple terraces and open spaces were our response to this. The built volume was developed around these open spaces so as to blur the line between interior and exterior. The material language was a reflection of the client's style, favoring clean, geometric lines and patterns in natural, locally available materials.
